Greetings in the Lord!!! Wow what an awesome month. God is so good! So many things is happening in our midst. Praise the Lord! Hope you are doing okay. We are all doing great and are blessed to be able to serve the Lord in the Philippines. This month God is opening new doors into prision ministry. What a breakthrough! Attendance seems to be growing during the weekly meetings. We are looking forward to see how God is going to raise up disciples in the prison. Continue to pray for this new ministry that God may continue to guide those who are involved. The church continues to grow. This month the Lord has opened up many new doors for us to start new Home Churches. So please keep praying. We are expecting a huge harvest in the month of April..... The discipleship School continues to grow too. We have added 2 new students to the school and maybe next month another 1-2 students will be added. At the moment we have 9 full time students that are being trained for full time ministry. Praise the Lord! God is doing such a wonderful work in our midst. Also the Lord has blessed us with a wonderful holiday for 5 days. Praise the Lord! I had a wonderful time with the family. It was so good to be able to have a little break and leave the city to spend time with my family. The kids are still talking about the holiday. They had such a blessed time. Playing in the sand, swimming, snorkeling, kayaking (although the kids didn't really appreciate this one so much.....) and more swimming. All in all we had a wonderful time on holiday. The beaches are beautiful here once you are able to leave the city. Really want to thank you for your continued faithful support. I will never be able to thank you all for all your help. I just wish I could let you know how much I appreciate your continued faithful help and support. Know that without your help we would not be able to have this ministry in the Philippines. Where lives are being changed and impacted for the glory of the Lord. Thanks a million for everything. Feel free to write me. I love to hear from you. Lots of love, Arthur Peter Discipleship Training School (DTS)
This month two new students joined DTS. At the moment we have 9 full time students. Every month I will add a testimony of the students who are part of DTS. Who can better share with you what God is doing in their life, than the students themselves. So you will be able to see the wonderful work God is doing... Lives are being changed and transformed. People who join DTS will never be the same. Thanks for supporting our students and making it possible for them to undergo a training, so their lives will never be the same again. Testimony Esther.... Here in Discipleship Training School (DTS) where I am being trained to be effective follower for the purpose and for the glory of God. In my first year of my training i went through a very difficult time as if I would not survive. The training was very intensive. God rearranged everything inside out. God changed my way of thinking and doing. I have learned many things and will continue to learn more (There is so much things that I need to learn.).The DTS teaches us sensitive and important topics that have been ignored and neglected by many churches of today. it teaches us about "Pride & Humility", "How to Relate to Authority", "Evangelism", "Loyalty & Disloyalty", "Stewardship" and many more...The training is all about learning and applying it in real life. Teachings that can't be ignored because it is following wherever you go and makes you aware of all the things you have learned. During my training I have really grown in my faith and learned how to live by faith. Also I am learning more and more what it means to be death to self. More and more I realize that it is not about me or I, but God's greatness and grace that abounds in my life. The biggest challenge for us is that while we are being trained we are being sent out taking the responsibility fo a shepherd or Pastor. It is only by God's grace that we can do such a wonderful work. I have learned to be independant but at the same time dependant upon God. To follow Him and His leading. I thank the Lord for everything whether good or bad. I will always praise Him and will forever be grateful. Bless His holy name!!!! Sister in Christ, Esther 24/7 PRAYER.... 24 HOURS A DAY ... 365 DAY'S A YEAR (House of Prayer)
Awesome things are happening in the church. The presence of God is just awesome! Thank you so much for the goodies that were shipped. Those who send us CD's, thank you so much. It is a real blessing to have more praise and worhip cd's. It helps us to continue to pray.....God continues to move in our midst. This month we have seen an awesome growth in the church. We have a total of 15 Home Churches (between 3-12 members) and 15 Bible Studies (potential Home church, but not approved yet.). This means that the church has 30 small groups at the moment. However, the good news is that we are expecting a huge growth in the month of April. Pray with us that we may see the breakthrough we are expecting.... Very exciting! God is doing such a beautiful work in our midst. Nice and sweet presence in our midst. People are getting delivered and set free from bondages. Also God is opening up a new door. It looks like the Lord is opening up doors for prison ministry. This past month we have had several meetings and the meetings continue to grow. Pray that this new ministry that it will continue to grow.....On April 12 we will have our Celebration Party. Every two months the church has a gathering of all the Home Churches and encourages all members to come together for fellowship and worship. Looking forward to see all the members come together to worship the Lord... Rachel's Testimony about 24/7 Prayer
Hi I am Rachel, when 24/7 prayer started many things happened. We experienced persecution, rejection and many lies from the enemies, but God showed us that Satan is trembling and afraid.
The 24/7 prayer watch is very powerful; the presence of God is very strong. I remember my experience when I was worshipping I heard another voice sing together with me and footsteps walking in the sanctuary, the precious Holy Spirit is always in the sanctuary and many prayer request are being answered. Jesus said that we are His precious servants, be faithful to serve Him as long as we are alive! God told me that we can retire from our career but never from serving Him. Spiritual Reflections (Story with a Spiritual Message) Nothing Grows Under The Banyan Tree
"Nothing grows under a banyan tree." This South Indian proverb speaks of leadership styles. The banyan is a great tree. It spreads its branches, drops air-roots, develops secondary trunks and covers the land. A full grown banyan may cover more than an acre of land. Birds, animals, and humans find shelter under its shade. But nothing grows under its dense foliage, and when it dies, the ground beneath lies barren and scorched.
The banana tree is the opposite. Six months after it sprouts, small shoots appear around it. At twelve months a second circle of shoots MORE ...........
Latest Teaching Added To Web (www.teachingthenations.com) What is Tithing? 9 Honor the Lord with your possessions, and with the first fruits of all your increase; 10 So your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine. Proverbs 3:9
Tithing is a principle of giving ordained by the Lord. The word tithe literally means 10%. In other words a tenth of all your income and produce should be returned to the Lord. Notice that it says the first fruits and not last fruits. Meaning that tithing should really be the first thing we lay aside and give to the Lord. Not the last thing we do and try to fit in. Tithing is giving a tenth of what we receive, to God. It is not a donation to God, but merely the recognition of His ownership of our lives, acknowledging Him as our high priest and Lord. The tithe belongs to the Lord (Leviticus 27:30-34). Everything on this earth belongs to the Lord and He has given us stewardship over 90% of it. MORE.........

Greetings from the Philippines, So good to be able to write again and share what is happening in Puerto Princesa City. This past Sunday we had our 2 services for the first time and Praise the Lord it was awesome. Everything went great. No major problems. The presence of God was awesome in both services & to our surprise both services were well attended. Both services were almost full (Remember that we only have a small meeting space - maximum 35 people). If this continues we maybe have to think about starting a 3rd service. God is doing something awesome in our midst. We are just so blessed to see God move. The leaders in the church are all very excited and very supportive. Praise the Lord for blessing the church with such a faithful people that are willing to help where they can. It is such a blessing to see God raising up people to help out in the church. The work that needs to be done is getting more and more. It would be impossible for me to do it all. However, all the leaders in church are very supportive and help where they can. I am just praising and thanking the Lord for blessing the church with so many faithful people. This past week the student organization has been accredited and has been approved. This means JESUS INVASION will be permitted to be active on Palawan State University. Praise the Lord! The students didn't want to waste any time. We had our monthly meeting this past Sunday and officially JESUS INVASION is active now. Once a month they will have a group evangelism outreach, 3 bible study groups are up and running every week, next to this from tuesday till friday students will be doing ongoing evangelism on campus and finally they will also cover the whole campus with prayer once a month. Praying for the area, teachers, guards, etc. At the moment we are preparing and getting ready for other big outreaches that are planned in the future. Praise the Lord for raising up enough students who are willing to claim the campus for God. The students are so excited. It is just great to see how God is raising up laborers. Just this week several students gave their life to the Lord and will be joining bible study groups (HOME churches) that will be done on the campus. God is doing an awesome work in our midst. Members are excited in the church and are looking forward to see God bring more members to the church. We are looking forward to see our HOME churches grow and reach our short term goal of 30 hopefully this month. However, our goal for April 2009 is to have 50 HOME churches. Praise the Lord! Nothing is impossible with God! Thanks again for all your prayers and support. You are such a blessing. How I wish you were here with me. It is so exciting to experience and see what God is doing in our midst. Although I believe it is just the beginning. So thanks again for making this ministry possible and being part of fulfilling the great commission. May God continue to pour out His blessings so we will be able to see many more people saved. Hallelujah!!! This is our short update for now. Please take very good care of yourself and don't hesitate to write me an email. Would love to hear from you. Oh yes almost forgot. On August 1 our 7th student will join our Discipleship School. This means that God has brought 7 people already to our school who want to be trained for full time mininstry. Awesome!!! Greetings from the Philippines, A little update from the Philippines. There seems to be an increased hunger for God among the members of the church. Especially among the leaders. God is moving in our midst. This past Sunday we had an awesome service. The presence of the Lord was so strong that people started dancing, crying and shouting of excitement. Awesome! Awesome! There seems to be an increase in the leaders for more prayer. Although we already have almost every day a prayer meeting, the leaders are asking for more. They are making comments like 2 hours of prayer is not enough. Praise the Lord! This is awesome! This is what we have been waiting for. For example this past Sunday members of the church had an allnight prayer meeting in a members house. At the moment we don't have an allnight prayer meeting yet, but it looks like it won't be long anymore. I know God is moving when people start praying!! So this is very exciting! Pray that this will continue.....
On the right you will be able to see a picture of our choir. It continues to grow. At the moment about 9-10 members have joined. What a blessing it is to have a choir. Learning a lot about worship! On the left side you will see a picture of our Trainings course. We finished our Trainings Course this past Sunday and will be starting a new one this coming Sunday. At the moment it looks like about 4-6 people will be joining. This trainings course is designed for people who are interested in becoming a HOME church leader. Takes about 3 months. Two exciting things are going on. First, we have been able to submit all the papers and requirements for our student organization - Jesus Invasion. All we can do now is wait upon being approved by the University. On submission of papers one of the requirements to be approved for being a student organization is that the organization has at least 20 members. Praise the Lord! As we were taking passport pictures we came to have about at least 29-30 members. God is so good!!! Everyone is so excited about Jesus Invasion and looking forward to see God do a mighty work on campus.
Second, not this coming Sunday but the following Sunday we will be starting to have 2 Sunday services (We call them Celebration services.). Due to our limitation of space (Maximum of 35-40 people) and growing attendance the church will be starting to have 2 services every Sunday. The Celebration services will take place every Sunday at 9am & 11am. Please keep the church in prayer as we will be undergoing this change. As you hear things are going well with the ministry here. God is raising up more leaders and there is an increased desire for more prayer. We want to thank you for your continued faithful prayer and financial support. I especially want to take this time to thank you for your continued financial support. Eventhough it is holiday season (normally support declines to almost half) and there are economic problems all over the world our support almost stayed the same this month. We really appreciate you always thinking about us. You are such a blessing to us. Know that God loves you and so do I. Lots of love, Arthur Peter & family - Praise - increased desire for more prayer meetings
- Praise - increased desire for an allnight prayer meeting
- Praise - Papers and requirements for student organization Jesus Invasion are submitted!
- Praise - Will soon have 2 services every Sunday.
- Praise - Church continues to grow in HOME churches. Getting close to 30 HOME Churches.
- Praise - Finished 1 trainings course and will be starting a new one this coming Sunday.
- Praise - More members are joining choir!
- Praise - It looks like soon we will be able to start supporting 5 children with their education - elementary and high school education.
- Praise - It looks like soon we will be having 7 students at our Discipleship School instead of 6.
- BIG Praise - Support continued on almost the same level during the holiday season (June), while normally support goes as low as 50% of regular support.

- Increase of Home churches - from 25 to 30 home churches (Our vision for April 2009 is 50 home churches).
- Continued growth of the 6 students in the discipleship school - Esther, Hannah, Barnabas, Richell, Abigail & Timothy
- Continue to pray for increase of financial support in year 2008. At the moment we have 55% of required support level.
- Planning to visit Tennessee in August/September 2008. Pray that God will give us favor and bring many new supporters.
- Please pray for our first D12, that we may grow closer to each other and become a team that work together for the Kingdom of God.
- Please pray that the Lord will raise up more leaders in the church. We are praying for 144 new leaders.
- Continue to pray for Flower, Barnabas and Caleb. To stay healthy and strong spiritually.
- This coming week we want to start going on campus. Pray that many souls will respond.
- Please pray for wisdom as we are going from 1 service to 2 services on Sunday.
- Please pray for a planned fund raising trip around April/May 2009 to the Netherlands. That more doors will open up.
- Please pray that I will be able to pick up the local language - Tagalog and understand it better.

Greetings from the Philippines, It has been a while that I sent an update of what is happening in the Philippines. We are all doing great here in Puerto Princesa City. Children are running and alive and keeping us very busy. Praise the Lord! This past Monday we were able to go to the beach with boys. They love the beach. Playing in the sand and finding crabs, sea stars and this past Monday we even found some jelly fish.... No worries nothing happened. We had a great time at the beach. Now a little update on the ministry. The coming week children will be starting school again. Thanks to your support we were able to give away some school supplies to children that have been coming faithfully to Sunday School. Your help is really appreciated and the children and their parents want to say thank you for all your help and support. Next to this we have also started a choir in our church. About 7-8 people are part of the choir. Although I am maybe not really objective I think the choir does a really good job. Learning a lot as we go along, but it is a true blessing having a choir during our worship service. Things are going well with the 6 students of the discipleship school and church. Many members are feeling that the Lord is getting our heart in the right place. It is not a problem for the Lord to sent a revival to our city, but the problem is us as people. Our heart need to be in the right place before God can sent a revival. Lately our prayer meetings have experienced an increase of attendance. With biggest attendance on Friday evening. About 20 people showed up. I love it when many people show up. It is such a blessing and the presence of the Lord is just wonderful.... In closing I would like to thank all the prayer and financial supporters for all your help. As you maybe have noticed our average support level has increased from 50% to almost 55%. Still in need of more support but it is going the right direction. Looking forward to come to TN where some people and pastors have shown interest in the ministry. Praise the Lord! God is just awesome!!!! Thanks again for all your faithful support and continued help. Know that without your help and support we would not have any ministry here in the Puerto Princesa City. Thanks for being part of fulfilling the great commission in the Philippines.... Lots of love, Arthur Peter - Praise - the Men's Encounter Retreat was awesome
- Praise - Will be starting another Trainings course in July.
- Praise - We were able to give some children school supplies for the coming school year.
- Praise - Doors is opening up for us to go on campus next week. One of the biggest universities in Palawan - PSU (Palawan State University)
- Praise - Had a great fellowship with D12 on Monday
- Praise - It looks like after the 2nd trainings course is finished we will have 2-3 new leaders who are going to lead a HOME church.
- Praise - Started a choir and 7 members of church are joining.
- Praise - More and more members of church are starting to join prayer meetings. Biggest attendance until now has been 20 members.
- Praise - We are having our Sunday Celebration in our office and things are going great there. It is full but things are going okay....
- Praise - New doors are opening up with people and churches in TN who show interest in the ministry.
- BIG Praise - Support is increasing step by step. Our support level has increased from 50% to about 55% of required budget.

Hello, Thanks for all your emails and responses. So good to hear from you. Also thanks for your support. We are so excited here in Palawan. God is really getting us all ready here for growth. This month we had a little party at HOUSE OF PRAYER. We had our 3rd year anniversary!!! Can you believe it. On April it has been 3 years ago that we started our first service. We are all so excited about what the Lord has done and we are all looking forward to see what the Lord will do this coming year. Every year we have an evaluation time together to see what the Lord has done this past year. Did the church grow or not? The church did not grow as much in number as we were hoping, but I know definitely the church has grown in maturity. We are now more than ever before ready to train up new leaders. God has brought a team of 12 leaders to the church that is very faithful and loyal and on fire for God. This past year our HOME churches have grown from 16 to 25 this year. The membership has grown from about 90 members to about 150 members. Next to this we have increased our prayer meetings from 1 Friday meeting to 5 prayer meetings - Tuesday till Friday morning 6am-8am and Friday evening prayer meeting from 7pm-10pm. God is so good!!! Through your generous gifts the discipleship school has grown from 2 students to 6 students. This one is for me to most awesome blessing I can imagine. Thanks again for making this possible. We really appreciate your faithful support. God has brought six students on are path that wants to be trained and prepared for full time ministry. Hopefully within about 2-3 years we will be able to send out our first candidate and have our first church plant. This is what the great commission is all about - to go and make disciples.... As we get more supporters we will be able to increase our students at the discipleship school. God is so good!! Know that without your support this would not be possible. So from the bottom of my heart and the students we say THANK YOU!!!!!! On the left you will see a picture of a truck that I have to show you. It is so cool!!! This picture was taken in Las Vegas. To see a bigger picture click this link!! Be sure to read the text on this car. By the way if you are not sure the owner is a Christian. Would like to have this done my bike!! Would be so cool!! Proclaiming the word of God wherever I go!!! Thanks again for everything and may the Lord bless you and keep you. Know that the Lord loves you and so do we!!! Lots of love, Arthur Peter Special Prayer Request - every Sunday we rent a hall to have our Sunday Celebration service, however, from June till December they will be renovating the building.
